Excellent food, good prices, and a great mother nature entertainment of birds feeders with a lot of different birds right outside of the windows.
Some of their options are straight from a bag or a can, like their McCain-like french fries or vegetable sides, but the salad bar is always fresh and they are well-priced. I love looking out the window and watching the birds feed on their bird houses. You can snag ice cream after right out front.
Great service. Great food. Great prices. Locally owned. Must eat here. Try the poutine you won't regret it. Also the portions are so big!
The food is generally pretty basic, but when you're up at the lake you don't need anything fancy anyways. Place is clean and cozy. Lots of different birds outside the windows on nice days; they'll sit right on the sill so you can have a good look!
Stopped by for some take out while on the road - delicious chicken fingers and potato wedges! Good prices. Friendly service, cozy and casual atmosphere at the restaurant. My only complaint was that the puffed wheat cake I grabbed from the basket at the till was impossible to eat as it was hard. Otherwise a good experience!
